On 3 September, more than 80 holiday-home operators, investors and industry leaders met at Yas Acres Golf & Country Club on Yas Island for the first-ever STR Club Breakfast Workshop in Abu Dhabi, held in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi. As Tedee’s exclusive distributor for MENA, Metaverse Smart Solutions was proud to support the morning, and our Managing Director, Abdulmunim Kelzieh, joined speakers from DCT and Airbnb to talk about guest access for holiday homes.
Why Abu Dhabi, and why now
The STR Club runs webinars, leadership workshops and industry events for the short-term rental sector. - Self check-in, at any hour. Each guest gets a code that works only for their stay, created and expired automatically by the booking system. Tedee connects with Guesty, Smoobu, Hostaway and the other platforms operators already use.
- Staff access without keys. Cleaners, maintenance and owners get their own codes, limited to the days and hours they need. Every entry is on record in one dashboard.
- No changes to the door. Tedee fits over the existing cylinder, so there is no drilling and no damage when a unit leaves the portfolio.
